At the present moment, I’m not recording, I’m not on tour and I never had a song go to number one on Beatport. I’ve never been featured on Junodownload or Track-it-down. I’ve never released vinyl.
But what I do know is that I’ve been listening to electronica for many years, and I have every right to speak my mind against the fabricated music that is being released on a daily basis, it’s absolutely appalling.
All these people think that, if you’re on the Beatport top ten, you’re making something out of yourself, well you’re making a mockery out of electronic music.
I’m a producer, and I come from the underground, and I’m quite frankly, I’m sick and tired.
And I’m here to go on these rants on message boards, because I know I will never amount to anything, and I need to make myself feel better. So when I’m not high on cocaine, I will sit in front of this computer til the cows come home. And continue ranting and raving about artists that are actually living out their dream cause I never will.
This pretty much sums up the whole night.

Rainbow Ordered Music/Color Synesthesia by Skylar Elis
The feeling of a certain color from a song.
Synesthesia, is basically defined as our mind often mixing up sensory input.
For example, seeing or feeling a certain color towards a sound.
This mix takes you through a journey in rainbow order to what I perceive as a progression of songs that are associated with the colors of the rainbow, respectively.
First song starts at RED last song ends in PURPLE, and each color between.
Included are a few profound quotes.

It was in a warehouse basement. A guy in a bunny suit threw me a pair of sunglasses that I still have today. They dropped “Smack my Bitch Up” by Prodigy and made us all sit on the floor until the kick. I’ll probably remember it till the day I die.

After Tritonal show on New Year’s Eve in Seattle, I waited to talk to them. I yelled “Happy New Year” up at them, and Chad & Dave waved down at my boyfriend and I and told him to give me a kiss for the New Year <3. They’re such sweethearts!
